In the third place match, OU trailed 20-18 when heavyweight Jake Boyd took the mat against Arizona State’s Brady Daniel in the final bout. The bout went scoreless through one period before Boyd got on the board with an escape, then was awarded a penalty point for a 2-0 lead.
