Greeley Creative District to host marketing workshop, netwo…


The Greeley Creative District will host a free workshop to teach local creatives how to boost their marketing later this week.

Briana Harris, marketing coordinator for the University of Northern Colorado’s College of Performing and Visual Arts, will present from 4:30-6 p.m. Thursday at the Atlas Theater, 709 16th St.

Harris will cover topics including how to build a strong online presence, design a website, maximize search engine optimization and strategize social media and content marketing. Artists, entertainers, writers, photographers and all kinds of creatives will be welcomed.

“Our Creative Community helps enrich Greeley’s quality of life in so many ways,” Becky Safarik, Greeley Creative District president, said in a news release.  “We host these informal sessions for Creatives and the community to share timely information to support their work and relay upcoming activities and events.
